Terrible experience. they didn't accept our greek (eu) driving lisence. The employee keep telling that our driving licence is illegal for Denmark but we ask police and they told us that is not true. Also the employee left the office without find any solution. We ask for supervisor but never come. We lost our money but in their site they said that they accept any driving licence . Stay away. We ask for a document that proves that hertz cant accept our lisences and we took a handwritten paper . They didn't have a stamp!!! 😭😭😭😭... At least Sebastien from enterprise rent a car( next to hertz office ) helped us and gave us a car in 5 minutes. HERTZ you suck

AVOID Hertz in Denmark, we gos an unfair free ne and they even charged 50€ on top. Last time with Hertz. There is plenty of other better options in Denmark. Run away from Hertz

Οτι χειρότερο με αγενείς υπαλλήλους... Αφού είχαμε κλείσει και πληρώσει το αυτοκίνητο ο υπάλληλος (ονοματι Shoren) μας έλεγε πως δεν ισχύει το ελληνικό ευρωπαϊκό δίπλωμα...🤔 με τελείως αγενές τρόπο... Προφανώς δεν ήξερε καθόλου την δουλειά του ή το ευρωπαϊκό νομικό πλαίσιο.... Στην προτροπή μας να μιλήσουμε με τον διευθυντή του μας απέτρεψε... Ευτυχώς ο υπάλληλος στην διπλανη εταιρεία enterprise-alamo μας εξυπηρέτησε κανονικά και ήταν ευγενής....

I was there with Nikos G and status cafe( see previous comments). Terrible experience.They didn't accept our licence which is an eu standard driving licence. They didn't respect us .Poor service. STAY AWAY 🤬🤬🤬

Very bad experienced at Hertz Aahurs Airport branch it was closed before 5 pm on sat 20 Sept when we went to pick up our rental. Google state closing time as 8.30pm! So be ware! We booked a people carrier via booking.com for sat to tue Sept. The airport staff helped us called Hertz customer service & got through to a guy named Soren he then called the staff who went home. He couldn't come back because his don't own a car!. But Soren himself didn't come or explained why he can't or why no one else could knowing that we are there with a 2 years old child with 6 adults stuck at the airport. He said it's hr wait in their policy & his staff stayed 1.1/2 hr than our pick up time of 3pm. It shows lack of care. If they are going to use that as excuse to leave I have attached photo stating 2 hrs wait for airports & train stations. We can't help that our flight was delayed on take off plus landing queues was long at passport check. We never have any issues with car hire pick up from any where. Even at Aarhus airport which we used many times before. How can we know that they will go home by 4.30 pm? Anyways here is the details of what happened: we got to their office before 5pm no one was there. We looked around we saw a contact number & tried to call didn't get through. I went back in the Airport terminal and found a staff name Louise who called & spoken with Soren, she tired her best to get hertz to come out. Soren said they didn't know if we were walkin or from a flight! And they didn't have our details because it's booked via 3rd party. Our point is the vehicle was booked and paid for be it via 3rd party or not. They assumed its a no show from walkin & did not bother to check for flights delayed. Louise explained that there was delays & 2 flights landed closed together so passport queues was long. Yet Hertz felt that they're right to leave us and didn't do more to help us. This incident has been reported by Louise to the airport management. We have to stay overnight at the airport paying for 3 rooms & food. We lost time & money. Hertz never even offer any deduction or discounts for the car hire. My cousin also called Soren. All she could do was to Confirmed next morning pick up for 9am. Next morning we met the guy there who was the one had left early on Saturday, explaining that they are there only when they have booking & said that he was told its 1 hrs policy so they can leave he mentioned he stayed over 1& 1/2 tried to find our contact to called. I said we would be in the air even if he got our mobile number so he would not be able to get told of us. He did say he felt bad for us. We asked what if there was customer who came of flight wanting to hire a car? He said they wouldn't be able too. They only have staff when there's a booking & could go home after pick up. Hertz thinks that policy is more important than looking after their customers. Be warn when using Hertz when traveling if you get delayed, they would leave you stranded. Some how they expect you know & let them know before your pick up time. Difficult when you boarding on time & not knowing that there will be a delay during taking off. Last time we will be using Hertz. Should be rename as Hurts!!"
